"key code fax"
I found a sheet of paper in my glove box when I bought my 97.
It's called a "key code fax" and has a dealer number on it. It has my VATS code, VATS key, VIN, and two key codes (one for ignition and one for the trunk??).
The key codes are of the variety: wxyz, where w and x are letters and y and z are numbers. Is this code readable by a locksmith (e.g. can I give him two blanks and say cut this code)?
