Default Busy first month!

Hey guys! I'd just like to say hey! I'm Michael and stationed in Port Arthur, TX with the Coast Guard. I've been lurking on the forums for awhile and have now owned my 2001 6spd, 65k Vette for about a month and half now. So far I've already installed HID's low & fogs and a Vararam intake. Took it to the track last weekend and ran a 12.9 @ 108 with a 60ft of 1.93. I was happy with that for it being my first time ever at the track. Then on labor day I was at my local car parts store picking up some power steering fluid and a F250 didn't see it parked and backed right into it! Cracked the left rear quarter panel and dented the rear bumper. After some driving though, the bumper popped back into place. It's the car that fixes itself!

Anyways glad to be here and this website is really helpful!

Time for some pics.

Cell phone pic of the damage.

Anyone figure this plate out?

Plate means you're into water, as in Coast Guard? Welcome to the fray and I agree, it looks better w/o the dent. And thank you for your service.

Thanks guys and you guessed the plate pretty quickly. I usually have people just staring at it with no clue as what it means.
