or 4 wheel alignment actually. just had new ps2's mounted.off with the orig goodyears. is factory alignment specs the best recommended alignment for a somewhat conservative/occasionally spirited driver?. no tracking/racing of any kind for this car. probably will be the first one for this car since built as the miles are low. supposedly there is a shop here in ocala that is pretty decent. thanx. mike

Take a close look at your old tires. If no unusual wear is seen then I would stick with the alignment you have.
Factory specs is a good set up for your type of driving.
thanx toque.there was wear showing(cords) on inside of right front tire.never saw it while tire was on car.wasnt due to low inflation either.rest of tire was good and the left front was good.all 4 tires were well worn at 17,000 miles.rears were on the wear bars. thanx for your help.mike

If the front right tire wear was grossly uneven, and not like the wear you saw on the other tires,... I would be inclined to have it checked out. Its sorta your call on how bad you think the front right tire wear was...
I have been told that you have to do a full 4 wheel alignment on these cars to get all 4 wheels matched to each other.
Out of curiousity, are there any good tutorials on HOW to do a front/rear alignment?
I have a fastrax and did a fairly decent alignment job on my cobra (in it you just adjusted the upper control arm tubes longer/shorter until you hit your caster/camber); not certain how to do it in the Z though.
