Default First Visit to the NCM

Although I was registered to go on the National Caravan, I was unable to do so due to some medical issues. I was however able to get there the following week. So I thought for those that have not had the opportunity to go there I would share a few pictures. Also for those that have been there, there are a few shots that I am sure you have never seen before.

I just arrived when they were moving this out for a special photo shoot along with these other great prototype Corvette’s. What a great opportunity for a few shots before they stated.

Very cool, unique shots! Glad you finally made it there. It's always a thrill to visit even if no special event is going on at the time.

I haven't been there since the expansion, I'm looking forward to going back.

Very cool. I've been three times, the last trip was last November. The renovations were not done yet at the time.

That is the first time I've seen a picture of that transformers Vette without a bunch of people around it.

You won't regret it. We were suppose to be on the caravan as I mentioned and after the caravan we were goint to spend a week in Gatlinburg and enjoy the Smokey Mountains. Once I was cleared by the doctor, we did the Gatlinburg trip and I convinced the wife to make the side trip up to the museum. After all we were only 4 hours away. Only trouble was we were in our Trailblazer and not the vette.

The museum is an awesome place to visit. And you sure got lucky being there and seeing the prototypes. Thanks for the pics.

Been a few years since I was there. Looks like a return visit needs to be on my schedule soon!

I missed this when I not only took these pictures, but also when I uploaded them. Look at the Mako's right headlight cover. Somebody at the museum is in deep Doo Doo. It appears as though it just happened.

Great shots. Tons of history behind the cars in those photos !!! What would we be driving if it wasn't for those cars and the guys who designed them !!
