Hey guys,I just got some new Nitto Invos.I love the way they handle and look but I am getting a definite Horsesh!t smell from them.I got the rears put on two weeks ago with no smell but the fronts that had to be ordered in are smelling.WHEELS HAVE BEEN INSPECTED AND WASHED Anybody else notice anything similar?
Well it is getting better, just wondered if anybody else had ever noticed. We sell some rubber products that smell just like bad fish when they come in.Must be something in the processing.
Maybe they use some sort of fish oil or other horse droppings grease as a mold release agent
Just saying...
Here at work when we get new tools, sometimes they come coated in wax, and sometimes the come coated in whale fat. Ever buy a cheap tool from harbor freight or another cheap tool store and see the yellowish sticky crap all over it? Yep, pretty sure that's whale fat or something similar.

I got a set of Falken's for my Dakota R/T in 2004. They also smelled like burnt rubber. It stunk up my garage for a month ! I loved the tires so I put up with the smell and it eventually went away. Funny thing is that when I went to replace them again in 06 the set I got again smelled like burnt rubber. I knew this time that it was normal...
They're probably made in China. Just don't chew on them because you might get sick.
.
I think secretly the Chineese are trying to poision us.
They keep using poisionous filler & lead base paint, in all products going to USA.
.
Next they'll be sending up satalites to practice shooting them down.
ooopppssssss.......they're already doing that.
