converting coupe to zo6 back half
Has anyone done this? If so what all body panels need to be changed?
I have seen people put a targa top on a zo6, but never a coupe to zo6.
Any help is appreciated.

Why would you want to do this? I'd think it'd be cheaper and easier to buy a Z06 and have a targa conversion? Or do you want an auto Z06?

Some options in 2001 were only available on the coupe and not the Z06.
Telescopic Wheel
Sport Seats
Two Tone Interior (Not Mod Red)
HUD
Transmission Choices
Color Selection
To do the conversion you would need the back half of a FRC or Z06 to do the job.
- Roof & Rear Window
- Rear Interior Parts (hardware, gaskets, wire harness, etc ...)
- Upper Tub Shell
- Metal Structure Bar
- Rear Fenders
And lots of work or $$$$$$$.
Not for someone who does not already have a lot invested in their current ride.
I would not recommend doing this unless you have a lot of time and patience.

I like the lines of a zo6 but the luxury of a coupe. I just like to cruise and look good in the process. If I wanna go fast I have a 700hp 67' Camaro vert that I am building.
