don't rely on just the tape to hold them in place especialy if u drive in the rain...they will come unglued and fall into the wheel base..find a bonding agent to help keep them in place..

proper double back acrylic tape protocal....

If the installer would use the adhesive promoter ( 3M 06396) properlyhttp://multimedia.3m.com/mws/mediawe...6EVs6E666666-- when using an acrylic foam double back tape the diamond grills will not come out. Another option to the installer is a thicker (.015,.030,.045,.060) or wider (.500,.750, ect) double back tape or combination that would offer more bonding surface for more extreme enviroments.

I really like these diamond side grills. For me the chrome edge/trim could be black, as that would match the SST mesh screen edge/trim that are OEM on my QS Z06

Questions: (A) What size ( height i.e. 5/16, 3/8 inch) is the chrome edge/trim ? I have bulk quanity of 3/8 black edge trim.

(B) The grill is SST isn't it? Dah! I was thinking chrome for some reason . SST is better yet.

(C) Free shipping applies in conjunction with the CF discount?

(D) To get the CF discount , type FORUM where is says discount coupon. Correct?

The side vents come with adhesive promoter. The chrome edge is your choice if you want to install. You don't have to put it on it's just a molding. It's 1/8inch.

The side vent is stainless steel.

Good looking screens. However, when seen with the BSM's, it looks like a little too much "starch" was used.

I installed these and they look SUPER. Great product, fit and look terrific. I used the finished piece (supplied)to go around the outside of screen and it gives it a very finished look.
