I wanted them for my suburban. I installed the 55 watt silver stars in the fog light housing and it melted the inside of it. The metal shield is sitting at the bottom of the housing. So I was wondering if my vert can handle it before I purchase. Thanks.

HIDS we sell are only 35 watts and will not get near that hot to melt anything.
my fogs flash when i unlock/lock my car, will that decrease the life of the bulb/ballast?
i've also heard that i should rewire the relay to leave the fogs on when i use the high beams

Yes they will however I've been flashing mine over a yr now with no problems. We always have spare parts available if you want to order extras. I've never heard of that last suggestion. I guess it all depends on how you want them to function.it's not required at all.

I should add since writing this post we will now be offering 55 watt kits. I think they'll be here tomorrow. They're 35-40% brighter. They still won't get near as hot to melt anything.
