Ok I’m going to have to put new shocks on the car when I do the motor mods I really don’t feel like spending $1500 - $2000 on adjustable coil over’s. The only track time the car will see is in a straight line. I’ve notices a few different adjustable out there like the Pfadt inverted shocks are they worth it or should I just go with factory Z06 shocks? I have the C6 Z51 sway bars that I’m going to install at the same time.
I am really liking my Pfadt shocks (on 5/5 it rides better than stock, haven't raced with them yet) but for your needs you would be best off getting some stock replacements from Gene or some Bilstein’s.
I also have the Bilstein sports and Z06 springs and bars, but never put teh car on a track. I don't mind the rough ride at all as the car always feels planted. I love them. The C6Z shocks are good if you aren't going to lower the car at all. They'r e too long though if you plan to lower your car.
Yea I've been saving money while up here in Durango to do a lot of work when I get back. Of course that might change now that BP has cancled the project and I don't know if I'm going to have a job when I get back in November.
