after a 17hr workday i parked and forgot to latch the roof on... next morning it got launched at about 35mph. it survived but cracked in the corner and got many scratches.. any suggestions about the scratches?
I don't have the $1,500 or whatever a new clear roof costs so any suggestions about how to make it any less of an eye sore is greatly appreciated.

Welcome to FRC! Clear or solid top?
Happened to me with a clear top and I ended up picking up a used replacement for $400. Have seen them going as cheap as $325 lately. Not sure what a fix would cost. Consult a body shop? If its solid it can probably be patched, sanded and painted.
Bought a Z06 this round so now I have no FRC worries.
I bought a corner damaged targa top and had the corners repaired and painted for under $300.
If its a clear top I wouldn't know how to fix it if its cracked, but you can sand it down and have it re-cleared.
If it's a clear top, the best bet is to have it repaired, sanded, and paint it black. The black gives the same contrast as the clear top, when looking at the car. It also keeps the sun off you.
Sean, you going to Kevins tomorrow for the coil-over party? I'll be there about 7AM to start the teardown.
