I see you found my article in Vette magazine along with the Cragars "SS" Ive been running these for 5-6 years. I have not seen another set on any other C5. I had them made and mine are 17x9 fronts and 18x10 and also 18x12 on the back, street and track. I believe Cragar is now making these in both 17 and 18" but only 9" wide. I will be at Funfest this week if you want to see them in person. Let me know if I can be of any other help, the offset is the main concern with getting away from stock or Vette specific wheels.
Yea I know they are not for everyone but variety is the spice of life.. Also have the Hurst cueball shifter ****.. Cheers

Yes, thanks to Google. "Cragar SS C5 Corvette" as the search and then images. I am not interested in custom since it will be way out of my price range. The Z06 look (as posted) is what I had in mind. I can't tell who makes those however. Thanks for the post and infrmation. Seems there aren't many that like the look, but I sure do and a handful of us might be looking to duplicate it.

Not gonna lie, that was a pretty good response. I give you props for that.

I always wondered what the SS mags would look like on a C5....

It looks pretty cool by my thinking, of course I'd have a black Hurst T-handle if they made one for my C5....

I saw the Cragars on a white C5 convertible in one of the major Corvette magazines about 4 years ago. I liked how they looked. I'll try to dig up which issue tomorrow if I get the time.

I have to admit they look way better than I thought without seeing them, but there are many other rims I would rather see on a C5.

It was my car in Vette magazine in DEC 06 with the Cragars "SS" rims. Ive had 5 vettes and wanted to do something different. It also has a 427, F1C blower and some NOS, way over 1000 HP

Many years have passed. I am still looking for 19" old school SS wheels if anyone knows a source.

The torque thrusts looks great, but leave the spinners for the older cars

The original Old School versions were made by Cragar. Not sure who those are made by.

I agree, those are American Racing Torque Thrust II's

Had a set of 17x7 front and 17x8 rear TTII's on my el camino
