What have you found as a good replacement seat for a daily driver that offers reasonable long distance comfort and stability.
I'm really tired of my stock Sport Seats falling apart. I've fixed the rocking seat thing twice. I now have a piece of the frame actuator in my hand after it broke off. Replaced the foam once coming up on twice. The covers are looking theiir age, again. The plactic control panel on the side is cracked, again. I'll have another $1k in these things to get them up to snuff, again. Maybe time to look at alternatives?
133k mile and I'm not a big A$$ guy they just cry out lesser quality.
you know i've like the look of the s2000 seats and have only read a few times where maybe 2other people have asked about them. I've never sat in them so i can't say how they feel but the newer ones certainly look good. In the right color combo i don't see why not
"IMO, my Corbeau A4's are a great alternative. Still a reclinable seat with great support. I only with they came in colored leather...."
These look great. How is the day to day comfort?
nvusgt - I googled these and found out their a HOT item here in Florida. Really sought after by chop shops if you know what I mean.
The market is really there for them.

Love the seats. they look sweet ! I sat in a car with these seats and found that your butt sits much higher than stock seats. He said the seat was set as low as the seat would go. He had to remove his sun visor just to get more forward visibility. Do you find this also ?

Thanks for the input guys. Maybe the guys seats I sat in we not as low as they can go ? He said they were though. So neither of you find they sit higher than stock seat ?
Your leather A4's look Sooooo nice. Where is that "drool" smiley anyways.

I used the manual rails from Corbeau. I don't find it sits any higher. Perhaps the ones you sat in used a modified stock rails to retain power. If that is the case, they would have to sit about 1 1/2 to 2 inches higher to clear the electrics on the stock rails. On the stock seats they actually come up into the seat.

Thats exactly what it was. He had the power seat controls on his car. I remember seeing that. I would rather the manual control anyways. Thanks for clearing that up !

The would look funny being that high. It would have to be about 9-10 inches from the front of the seat to the floor.
I did add spacers to front mounts to lean the base base some.

Caravaggio's seats are Corvette sport seat upgrades. You can see photos on their site. They are expensive $3200, but they are upgraded with larger bolsters, better leather, more padding overall. They look great.
