Default Pass window inop today

Ok. I had this problem on my Silver 98 and it seemed to fix itself. But my black C5s passanger window locked up today. I can hear something clicking in the door when i try to roll it up or down, but the window doesnt move. I just lubed the guides about 6 mos ago. Suggestions??

I had the same problem. I opened up the door and took apart the window motor/regulator. Put it all back together and it worked fine. Good Luck

hold the window button down and hit the pull handle - or just in front of it- HARD with your fist -- many times it "fixes" the problem .. I did mine that way 1-1/2 yrs ago and no more problems since. (don't hit the soft part of the door panel - just right at the front of the pull handle.)

I fixed mine with percussive maintenance.

Happened on driver door of my 99. Stop working for a couple of weeks then suddenly works again. Best thing about this site is that every quirk has been experienced and explained by members for the newbies like me. Solves a lot of worrying
