Don't get me wrong, I like the new Camaro, It has some great features and seems like a great car for it's money. I am not happy however that it has made a lot of people think that it is "Higher" than a Corvette. I always thought the Corvette was the Chevy Halo sports car, and I love it for it's low, sleek design, I actually think the Camaro is a little to big and bulky, but thats just because of the type of car I like. I only hope the C7 will bring the Corvette back to It's Flagship post. To me, the Corvette will always be better than the Camaro, Any thought are welcome, I don't want to start a war.
The Camaro is a nice car and I'm glad that there is some industry and media excitment about it's comeback. The new model followed the retro craze and certainly brought back some nice design elements.
Prior to it's comeback, the later model Camaro's IMO were f-ugly and underpowered. They have never been designed to compete with the Corvette, although I can understand the excitement of having a "Vette Engine".
Let the new Camaro have it's moment as I'm glad GM is once again competing against the Mustang for that segment of the market. Corvette, however is not in that segment and the current C6 certainly is in another class of sports car...
