Default sumitomo HTRZIII tires

Plan on putting new tires. Anybody have any experience with Sumitomo HTRZIII. Local shop quoted me $630 for 4 tires mount and balance with 4 wheel align. How are they with noise and wear?

No personal experience, but I hear good reviews.
Go to Tire Rack.com and check out ratings & reviews.

I like the tread pattern and the rating is decent at 360aa. Where are you getting that deal, exactly what I am looking for...

Had them on my C4 and loved them. Be careful when the tires are cold.

It's a small local shop in Gramercy , LA - Gramercy Automotive. His prices are a little higher than tirerack, but I don't pay shipping and he mounts for free.

I have 2 that started on the backs, switched to front when I got new wheels, they are too big and throw the TC but they will not wear out , I like them !

I've had these Sumos on my '98 (17&18) for about 1500 miles, and have had no problems whatsoever. A major improvement over the Goodyear RF.

CAP94: I might be wrong, but I think those are the HTRZ II... not the HTRZ III. Am I correct? Anyone have a comparison of the 2?

I think you are right the tread pattern is different on the III's, not quite as good looking. I just put the III's on 500 miles ago they ride great and I now have traction under 50 mph. I would rate the looks not as well though.
