Default blue halogen bulbs

is there a halogen bulb out there that will output around the same color as a 6000k HID bulb? will these still be brighter than than the stock headlights?

No they are horrible! I owned them at first before I got into the business. Bad!!

Order the HID kit I offer. You will be amazed at the difference.

there's plenty of bulbs that have the color output of HIDs, the light output however suuuuucks, even compared to stock. I also recommend paying the extra $ for real HIDs with real HID light output!

i dont really feel like taking apart the headlights just for some bulbs. i just want to pop some new bulbs in and be done with it.

No tearing apart anything. Same amount of work as changing the bulbs. I just removed the black plastic part and worked around that. Unless you go with something like silverstars there really isn't any better options other then going to HIDs.

The HID conversion does take a little more work but it's no big deal to do it.

Well it helps that i have skinny hands. For me i was able to fit my hand through the headlights without taking anything apart other then the black piece of plastic that comes off anyway when you swap bulbs.

I mounted the ballast on inside bottom of the front bumper. Just make sure you clean whatever surface really well. So yes it is a little bit more work then just swapping bulbs.

This is how I suggest everyone do them. No need to take out the whole housings.

As far as more work all you do extra is connect wires and mount ballasts. That takes no effort
