wheel fitment questions
I want to buy some CCW's from someone, but they are off a 1996 C4. The offset/backspacing are not listed but he says they are 10" fronts and 11.5" rears. They look to be a high offset, but is the hub the same size between the C4 & C5? Here are some pics for reference:

Yes - they'll fit. Late C4's and C5's share the same lug-pattern, and have a very similar offset to their wheels. The 11.5" rears probably have a 50mm offset and may stick out about 1/4 - 1/2"

have him measure the backspace. hold a straight edge across the wheel lips on the inboard side of the wheel and measure down to the mounting surface. compare that with stock wheel backspace and you can tell how much if any the outside of the wheel will sit in or out compared to stock.

If the owner of the wheel has the original bill of sale, CCW identifies the offset and size.
It was the '96 Grand Sport that had a 50mm offset to go along with its fender flares.
