Default Bought some crappy parts

I bought these parts from one of the vendors here. I bought Z06 front screens and also a chrome screw kit. Well the vendor was running one of their spring sales, I bought the parts in March and just got them on. They offered 25 percent off to Corvette forum members. But if you went to their e bay store it was 35 percent. Well the screens are to small for the openings and fall out and the screws and washers were zinc plated when they were advertised as chrome. I could have bought the same in Home Depot for a fraction of the cost.

So I chalked it up to 103 bucks lost. If you want to know who the vendor is PM me and I will tell you.

March to September is a loooooonng time. Have you tried to contact the vendor before or after you received the items? PM's are great but If these things were as bad as you say you should post the vendors name without any worry of reprisal from the moderators. If someone is setting up a scam I'm sure the CF would not wish to support that kind of activity.

For some serious screens for your Vette, google Race Mesh. These are the best screens I have found on the market. Chip @ CCA (supporting forum vendor) sells them as well.

The same thing happened to me. The item was passenger side air bag letters. I emailed the vendor my displeasure with the product, didn't request a refund but thought I would get a response of some type. No response. No more orders from me.

Please do let me know as I bought some stuff from the perpetual 40% off vendor and they were total crap, not a single piece from the 3 items I ordered is on the car anymore. Had I known I would have never bought.

Most stuff on here is good, some is crap.

My question still stands. Did you express your displeasure to the vendor and who is this mystery person? Has he offered you a refund or even an explanation?
Sorry but without this information this thread is useless.

Well then in your opinion it is a useless xxxx thread. No I did not call him up because after 3 months no vendor is going to give you your money back and I sure as hell don't want any more of their crap in return.

And the vendor is not a mystery because I will give you their name if you PM me. I do not want to start a bash thread.

What kind of explanation do you think he is going to give you. Is he going to make an excuse why the screens are to small or the chrome on the screws look like sh it. What kind of explanation would you expect.

Not a useless thread at all. I'm glad you brought this up. If the product is junk, we all need to know. I consider this forum a close family because we all try and look out for each other. I would contact them if it was me and tell them that you are on the forum and could easily release their name if they do not stand behind their product.
