can anyone recommend the best clutch for 02 c5 vert w 25 k miles on motor...only mods are halltech cai and will be puttin on lts and borlas...my clutch smells sometimes when i do a burn out is that normal? all else feels or appears fine though...thanks

Are you riding your clutch ? If it smells it's most likely slipping either due to you or it's just slipping, if you're all stock there really isn't any good reason it should be slipping from what i've heard so if anything .... stop doing burnouts or deal with buying tires clutches and whatever else you break while playing with your toy. I'm in the middle of finding a new clutch myself then I'm sure a rear end shortly to follow. I'm not sure what to do after that ... naturally aspirated or not

If you can smell eau de clutch, you are causing the clutch to slip by driver error. Doing a burnouts with dry tires is a prescription for breakage.
For reference, a stock LS1 or LS6 clutch will produce 150-200 drag strip burnouts (damp tires) and launches and still be adequate for normal driving. Properly maintained at near-stock power levels, the clutch should 100K miles or so.
