I'm trying to find inserts for the "Corvette" on the passenger side air bag. I bought decal inserts and they lasted about 2 months before they started peeling up. I then bought some from West Coast Corvette and they fell off the first time the car was parked outside on a warm day. Anyone had better luck with others?
His are the thick ones with the rounded edges, and he deals with customers directly. I am very happy with mine, both on wheel and right airbag. Looks like the original C5 prototypes. Don't know why they were left off the production cars.
These are nice. Can anyone provide any additional installation tips for us guys with big, clumsy fingers? I tried a set a few years ago and could not get them to stick. Should I use any additional adhesive or a set of tweesers?

I recommend using a piece of scotch tape over each letter - using the tape as a "handle". You can see through the tape to facilitate getting the letter placed exactly right. You want to avoid touching the back side (adhesive) at all costs. Also - use the 3M adhesive promoter after you've thoroughly cleaned the surface.
I sell the Cyberdine Graphics letters, which are the ones that Bryan at VWI sells - along with the steering wheel decal that matches.....what color are you seeking?
Yes, these are the ones I have as well. I cleaned the area (this is important), with mild soap and water, then a cloth moistened with alcohol. Did not discolor dash, and letters stuck fine. They are tricky to position, and it is critical not to move them as you apply pressure. Then I let them set for a couple days for the adhesive to "cure", that is, to fully bond. They have been just fine.
Rushing, and moving them around by pressing too hard damages the bond. Better to get them into position before pressing, then press without moving them, then let them "set up".
If you find that they won't stick at all, then it is likely that something, most likely residue from materials like Armoral (or something like that), is still on the surface.
