Default Look what I have been up to lately

Ok I have been a member here for some time but mostly on the C6 section. I drive a 05 vert and my wife has an 02 Coupe. Thought I would show you guys what i have been doing with all the parts I buy on this forum

This is a Factory Five Racing GTM for those of you that dont know. Parts are sourced from any C5 Corvette. This car has a 2000 LS1 engine and a Porsche G50 trans. I have alll the parts to upgrade the brakes to C6 Z06 but need to wait until I can get wheels that will clear them. Pretty cool looking car huh?

Nice job of the car! Love the color, I'm sure the camera doesn't capture it fully. Looks great man!

Fantastic job! Congratulations! That's a beautiful car.

I love the GTM - I would be building one if I had the space.

Will an LS3 work in that setup? Does wider rubber fit under there?

Got any more pics of the chassis and engine without the body? How about the steering gear?

Awesome project.

Looks great. Really interested in how long it took to build and any tips for someone else interested in building one.

I've been looking at those cars for a couple years now. They even had them on sale last year.

Can you lower the front suspension a little to evenly space the wheel well gaps between the front and rear.

What's a G50 tranny running these days?

I love the lift.

Default Fantastic...

I wholeheartedly agree....it looks fantastic.

Wondering a few things..like the others have also.

1- what is horse power?
2- what is build cost?
3- will it pass on road SMOG requirements ? OR is it track vehicle?

No matter cost....it looks like a $500,000 car...
