Seat Rubbing Center Console

Is it normal for the driver side seat edge to rub the center console and make a pretty loud squeek/rub sound when it 'egresses'?

I use dielecrtic grease to lube door seals....I add a tiny smear on that lower bolster area that rubs...safe and effective
