I have a '03 vert, a friend just purchased a '01 vert (liked mine). I seen the car for the first time today and it is super clean with 30k on the clock. One of the first things I noticed was a definite tilt of the front wheels (top inward)like the back end of an old VW bug.... I didn't say anything and thought the first thing I would do is go to the forum. Well here I am, what gives with the front wheels tilt inwards, is it a major repair or set up that way for some reason? (Stock wheels.) Curosity got the better of me. Greetings, Rob
Definitely have it checked out. Sometimes this "low mileage" finds are actually high mileage track or racing cars. If it's a stock verte, it's probably more of a bad mod.
Lowering the Vette does not change the camber so significantly that it is noticable with the bare eyes...but definetly get it checked out. Check the tires for uneven wear...on the front, you can set up a pretty aggressive camber and some maybe go overboard. The rear is very limited, so even the max camber is good for the streets...Indy
