Tinted Lights with Exotic Background
Finally got my tinted lights installed at the beginning of the month. Just in time to head down to Vettes and Jets on the Lex. Bought the fronts used here, got the rest from JW Motoring. There were problems with the finish likely caused by the massive heat we had here in Texas during the summer, but Jhonathan was very easy to work with and came up with a better packing system that resisted heat related issues.
I think with my carbon wheels, the blacked out lights look great and really match the look.
With the flash you can see they are still reflective.
Throw in some clouds or take them out of the direct sun and they get pretty dark.
And now for the exotic background.......

Thanks for the compliments. Not bad for a car that was daily driven for 7.5 years and has 101k miles on it!
Wasn't third time the charm Jhonathan? There was enough sanding that they lost all the dot markings though..... Hopefully it doesn't turn into an issue down the road. I doubt it will.

Aligning the exhaust tips is on my to do list. Hopefully that'll get done sometime....
PeterPan, it was good to meet you too. I had hoped to get a chance to check out your C5 like last trip to the Lex but saw you brought your beater instead.
For those that like the rims, you'll love this shot.
Unless people actually look, they just think they are black.
