Default DRLs aren't working

Hey guys, the parking lights on my 2002 z06 arent working while i drive. If I switch my lights to just the parking lamps on then they do work so i know its not the bulbs? also when my headlights are on the work..Shouldnt they work once i release my parking break? thats how my ls1 camaro works.

Not sure what year it began to be controlled through the DIC, option 4 function button, I think.

If not, check the #2 fuse (under the hood).

in the fuse box under the passenger side floor board there are two fuses (big ones) marked DRL L and DRL R.. one could be bad.. it could also be the options like the other guy suggested..

check there!

Do your turn flashers work?
The DRL uses the turn/ emergency flasher filament in the bulb, not the park filament in the same bulb.

im a tad bit confused as to what you mean, so the DRLs use the turn signal bulbs not the parking light bulbs?

Same bulb different filament, dim one is park lights and the bright one is DRL and flashers. Here is a photo of a two filament as an example.

This is exactly what happened with my car. Replaced the bulbs and we were back in business.
