Powder coat wheels
Anyone have any experience powder coating the standard wheels that come with the 99 C5? Also, any ideas on a color that would make the car standout. The color is 382E I think it's called either pewter or champagne.

I powder coated my rims, swingarm and various other parts on my motorcycle. Powder coating is great vs paint! It's durable and stands up well to rock chips and that sort of thing. You can even do translucent powder coating with different colors. Below are some samples of translucent powder coating...a friend did it to his bike and it looked SICK!!!]
We've powder coated several sets of wheels and they've turned out awesome. You''ll be hard pressed to find something more durable. I've had several things powder coated on my car, including the fuel cell covers, and they've held up great.
