Check engine light

Drove my 01 down the road to-day and after about 15 min. the check engine light comes on. Did a search on the forum but only found the ones with C6s had problems. A number of them had suggestions anything from disconnecting the negative side of the battery for 15 min.or buying a code reader about $ 60.00. Welcome any suggestions

Follow the instructions on how to read codes, and then write down what yours are. After you write them down, do it again and delete them if it is an "H" code (history) as it is no longer a problem.

You dont need a code reader, press and release the FUEL button 4x while holding the OPTIONS button. It will scroll automatically but you can scroll through it manually.
