Soo yeah I have been hearing noises on near lock turns and it turns out that the inside edge of my front wheels has been rubbing the brakelines and aftermarket cooling ducts... What do I have to do to fix this? They have sliced nice chunks of of my LG cooling ducts, the lower conrol arm is sliced and the stainless steel brakelines are taking a beating, not to mention the inside edge of the wheel is beat up now. The wheels are 17x10 CCW classics with 57mm offset, but this was also occurring with my stock wheels, because I noticed the inside of my stock wheels was polished from rubbing when I took them off to mount the CCWs...
I had same issue with drm spindle ducts, I had to raise the side that was rubbing up about 3/4'' that took care of awful sound and strange looks from people.
Most track guys accept the trade off of never being able to go full lock for the added cooling that the brake ducts provide. Most track guys don't DD their rides or drive them on the street for that matter, so that only annoyance is in the paddock and the occasional 3-5 point turns heh.
Not sure there is an easy fix other that adjusting the offset of your rims ($$$), radically adjusting your ride height (sacrifice to handling, braking) or adjusting your driving style to allow for your clearance issues.
