Before I ask this, yea I know "it depends on your state" but I want to get an idea before I call them. How much are you paying for a vette as a secondary car per month/year? (full coverage of course)
sweet ... I've already got two other cars -- covering both of them (full) is ~$10 more than just one so I'm expecting a good low number ... thanks for the info!
It's really hard to judge one state against another there are such differences even within one state. Small community, metropolitan area, particular coverages, deductibles, etc. I could move, say 50-75 miles, and my cost could go up or down.

I'm with The Hartford insurance company on mine and pay $267/year full coverage. I'm 55 and its rated as a low annual mileage pleasure vehicle. Location is Missouri.
You will find that there are many different factors in what your insurance rates will be - best to just call around to various agents and see what they quote you.

not only depends on state but there are many different "full" coverages. that term usually just applies to the fact that you have both liability and physical damage coverage on your vehicle. liability limits and deductible amounts will greatly alter the cost of "full" coverage comparisons even comparing coverage from the same insurance company, on the same vehicle, at the same physical address of the vehicle.
Some of the cheaper quotes are for very limited coverage.
I got a quote in NY for $357, but it was only for 25,000/50,000 liability and $25,000 property damage.
If you own a house, one accident that is your fault could wipe you out if you are sued.
I got $100,000/$300,000 liability and $100,000 property damage, fire, theft and comp for $632 a year with an agreed value of $24,000 for the car.
not only does it depend on where the vehicle is garaged but also on the coverage. I do not want to assume anything. Is your question asking whether you add the exact same coverage to an exact same type (year, style) vehicle ? It will also depend upon your estimate of the number of miles you drive. Is there going to be the same number of miles drive on each ? I am not an insurance underwriter but there are variable as I have stated with mileage, year, coverages, deductibles that can affect the cost. If you are looking for a discount for adding another vehicle then you should get one. The amount will vary but you certainly need to consider the above variables.
Now you need to factor in your FICO or other credit score as many underwriters put more weight on the score than your driving record.
yes FICO scores are routinely used. However, I understood the inquiry to be adding another car to one that is already on the policy. So the FICO score would already been factored into the premium being charged.
FICO scores reflect one'e credit rating. If you have a marginal or low credit score (less than 700) be prepared to pay more.
