Default A\C Question

So it's been pretty cold here lately -5 to 0 degree's celcius. I noticed my car is still having coolant issues, in the summer i would usually just turn the a\c to help cool the car down. And a couple weeks ago when I first started using the heat, the a\c light would stay on when using the defrost.

But now when I try the a\c button, it just blinks a couple times.

Any ideas?

check your owners manual you could be low on refrigerant or the ambient temperature may be causing the unit to go into that mode

What your describing is normal, your ac will not come on if its like 40 degrees or something close to that. The light will just blink. Do a search on air conditioner, there is a post about it.
