Default Check Engine Light On Dad's 98...Pulled The Codes...

A couple months ago the check engine light on Dad's 98 came on, I pulled the codes, erased them and there has not been a problem since.

His check engine light came on again and I pulled the following codes:

P1154 H C

Found This on the Forum:

P1154 Heated Oxygen Sensor (HO2S) Transition Time Ratio Bank 2 Sensor 1

Is this something he should have looked at?

The other codes were:

U1096 H
U1064 H
U1016 H

I know the "u" codes are not as important and that one or two of those are because he has an aftermarket audio system in his vette.

THANK YOU

U1096H
U1064H
U1016H

all have to do with a bad ground at G105

It is located under the block on the driver's side.

Bad things happen when this is not addressed. Don't panic but search for Bill Curlee (sp). He can show you exactly what to do and how!

Hope this helps. the other code you posted,,, I couldn't find my list tonite.....try google search Corvette DIC Codes Corvetteactioncenter!

The U codes are usually loss of communication codes between the BCM and one or more sensors and if you clear them they should not come back for a while at least.
