I have an 01' vert - I recently been having an issue with my turn signals. Sometimes the work and other times the don't. It happens ont he same drive won't work at one point 5 miles down the road they work. Any one else have this issue or know where I should start to look at the problem?
Sounds like your hazard switch is going bad. Try pushing it in about ten times and see what happens. If this fixes the problem you will need to swap out your hazard switch. Don't take it to the dealership. Do a search and you will find instructions that take 30 minutes to make the swap.
I had a similar issue. Changed the hazard switch and it did not fix the problem. I had to replace the turn signal stock as well. as above, start with the hazzard switch and if it doesn't fix the problem, move on to the turn signal stock.
by the way, both proceedures are very simple with the help of your CF write ups. good luck
IMHO the flasher bi-pass cable is the way to go. It'll cost you about $60 and 20 minutes of time and the problem will be GONE. I've had one installed for over 2 years and would do it again in a heartbeat. Many folks here have installed them and also share my experience. You can purchase one from Richard @
I'm starting to feel like Richards key salesperson because I try to inform members of this fine product. I am, however, simply a very satisfied customer!
So far, and 'til I feel different about it, I've got better things to do than replace the switch or even install the bypass. I just push the 4-Way switch 5 or 10 times and it solves the problem for another month or two, sometimes longer.
I have a right rear trun signal that won't work or flash. Changed the flasher modual and it didn't fix it. Looks like I'm heading for a multiswitch modual change. ( Turn signal/headlight stalk) Good luck.

Do the flasher bypass as noted above. It cured all my problems including one signal that worked and the other that didnt, then sometimes both. You wont be disappointed. Cheers
