[Z06] x pipe?

I installed a Magnaflow x pipe on my '01Z. Don't know what effect it might have on performance but it mellows out the exhaust so it doesn't sound like a motorboat. If anything it just equalizes the exhaust note.

In my view, the exhaust sound was much more aggressive ( bad in a good way) with the factory H- Pipe and I would have left it on if not for the annoying exhaust rattle. As far as HP gains - not noticeable.
Also- save your money if you ever plan on installing Long Tube Headers as they generally are supplied with X-Pipes.

I also had the Magnaflow X Pipe installed soon afer acquiring my 2002 Z06. The only reason I did it was to get rid of the exhaust "jingle" or rattling coming from the H- Pipe cross over. The X-Pipe cured that issue..
