[Z06] Just ordered GHL
. Chip said it should be shipping out in the am. Man i cant wait to get them on. Right now the car has ARH long tubes / ORX pipe with the stock Ti catback. Love the sound of the Ti but just not loud enough or deep enough for me. post up some before and after videos when i get them installed.

i could not be happier with the GHL kit! It is loud at WOT but i am not running cats. There is some drone (for example when i am in 6th gear/below 60mph). Any throttle imput produces some drone until i get above 60mph. But if you are on the highway above 60 in 6th the car is not much louder than the stock Ti was. The car sounds soooo much better now. It has a deep rumble to it and at WOT it sounds like a race car. I notice people rolling down their windows a little to hear it at red lights lol. The kit also really looks great imo. It is heavier than the stock Ti but i would think with the weight i saved by putting the headers/ORX on the car is at a very similar total weight as it was stock.
Two things i did not like about the kit though. First was the pipes that have the tips on them were not even which caused some tip alignment issues. I used torctite band clamps instead of the GHL clamps which ended up giving me enough room to adjust the drivers side tip to match the passenger side. These band clamps allowed me to pull the tip pipe out to the end of the muffler pipe with being to lose to stay inplace. The torctite clamps are top notch products. Second i was running a WCC billet exhaust plate and had to remove it do to clearence issues with the passenger side tip pipe. If the exhaust moved any (under WOT) it would strike the plate. I tried multiple times to adjust the tips and i could not get them to match. One tip would be at a down angle and the other would be on a upward angle. I ended up pulling the plate off and the tips now are perfect.

but i am glad you posted about the billet exhaust plate... I was going to order one, now I will need to check for clearance first! How thick are they anyways?

nope. sounds faster though lol.
tips are perfect now but i just cld not get the passenger side tips to clear the exhaust plate and be at the same angle as the drivers. it could be that the bend in the pipe coming off the passenger muffler could have been a little off.
