Just wanted to post my farewell to the community, and to thank all of those who have helped along the way. Its amazing how willing people are to help and how awesome this forum really is, there's an answer for EVERYTHING if you simply do your due diligence. Also, the marketplace has been fantastic as well, made modding it easy and fixing all of the crap that broke.
Alas, the time has come to sell my baby, just can't justify the payment anymore (a longer story than I want to tell, just take my word for it.) Despite going through a host of issues (multiple column lock ordeals, oil pressure senders, EBCM repairs, etc.), I wouldn't trade the last 4 years in it for anything. Fortunately, I got a great deal on it and should (fingers crossed) be able to pay it off and get something pretty decent with the equity.
Promise I won't forget to wave. I'm afraid I'm hooked, so It's only a matter of time before I get another one. Hopefuly I'll be on the lookout for a fairway green vert in the near future...
Hey man just because you don't have a vette doesn't mean that you have to leave the board! I'm sure you've got some information to bring to the table. If you do decide to go, I wish you the best and that means getting back in a vette ASAP!
Even if you are temporarily with out a Vette you are still one of us! Stay on the forum, You will have another Corvette soon enough. When you get that forest green Vette [and you will], It will be just like the day you got your first one! Untill then just hang around the forum and plan your "mods"!

Sad to hear you and your baby have to part ways!! Another vote with the "You don't have to leave" bunch!! Just because you don't currently have one doesn't mean you aren't a vet guy!!
Your experience is valuable here to everyone. Please consider staying on and sharing your insights as things happen. We're here to help everyone. I don't even own a C-5 any more, but have lots of experience with it. Now running a C-6 in my case but I'm here to help as I can.
Please stay, I wish I would have been on this forum before I bought a Vette, you can keep abreast of all the Vettes news and step right in when you new one arives
Good luck

Sorry to hear you are going to sell the car, but best of luck finding a buyer. And you are welcome to stick around here - hate to see a long time member leave.
