There is research that shows in order to maintain safety above 180-ish a different hood is required as the air build up under the hood begins to "lift" the front end.

I have a nice Excel spreadsheet orignally made by a forum member, John Neese. It calculates speeds in gears at RPMs. HP not a consideration. You input tire size and gears and RPM redline of your choice.

they are right .. maybe a bit more than 170, but you need well over 500BHP to get to 200.

580bhp is about 480-490rwhp

If the top speed is 172 @ 6000 rpm in 5th gear
And he can rev all the wa to 6800 rpm thats a increase of almos 15% in the rpms
IMO he would be able to go 172 + 15% which is ~197. he probably have enough horse power for that.
I would say at least 190
