will 2001 a4 work in a 98???

I believe the main computer is different starting in 2001. Example's are the key fob and the TPMS from the 1997-2000 are different than the 2001 and up C5's. Perhaps it would simply be a case of reprograming the transmission for the later computer, not sure. Guys here a lot smarter than I am on this stuff will chime in to help I'm sure. Good luck!
