Default Zip-Corvette.com reviews?

I just finished ordering a rebuilt steering rack by phone from Zip-Corvettes.com. Have any of you guys had any dealings with them and how did it go? I got that uneasy feeling after making the over $600 order (Part $210 + core charge $400)
Has anybody ever had any problems with them?

they've been around a long time. they lost a big lawsuit some time ago for stealing some parts designs from doc rebuild.

they wouldn't be my first choice for products, but you shouldn't have a problem with them.

Not exactly. How do you steal a design that came on your GM car originally. It is amazing how many people out there take credit for there design on a part that was originally designed by Chevrolet. There are always two sides to a story, we just chose to take the high road.

I've ordered a couple of items from them in the past. One of the items they sent me was incorrect, but they resolved right away. I will definitely order from them again.

I have never had any problems with Zip.

When I had some C3s I ordered lots of parts and always made an effort to avoid the other company on the other side of the story because of the way they acted to the public about it.

I visit their place every year when I drive down to catch the NASCAR Richmond race. Nice folks and nice facility with lots of parts on hand. I have bought several things there.

Just ordered a couple parts last week. No complaints here. Arrived in a day, probably because they are out of VA.

I have ordered some goodies from ZIP and everything went very smooth. They offer some very nice Coleman two-piece slotted rotors in C6Z sizes (the only two-piece rotors available w/E-brake provisions for the rear) for us C5 guys that converted to C6Z calipers. I hope they get some back in stock in the near future.

I've ordered from them with no problems and have stop in at the showroom when I was passing through while I was working seem like a nice group of people to me. Caught a sale one time got a teeshirt for $5 can't beat that.

One of the best to deal with. I live about 2 hours away so I can call and my parts will be waiting for me on the counter when I get there.

I ordered a tire pressure sensor from them last summer. Arrived within a couple of days. Got it installed on the wheel, but the sensor turned out to be defective (I later heard that the manufacturer has been having quality problems). I called Zip, they were professional and courteous, they said "send it back, we'll refund your money". I did, and they did. Absolutely no hassle. Would gladly buy from them again.

Out of all the places that sell corvette parts, Zip is my favorite. I have bought a lot of things from them in the past. Many interior parts for a C3, carpet, dash pieces, etc. no problems and never disappointed.

I'll "call you directly" this afternoon if I don't get a reply to the PM I sent to you yesterday that you requested. I won't have access to internet or phone until this afternoon.

Thanks,
Steve
