Default Brake Pad Suggestions

I did a search of brake pad suggestions and recommendations and didn't really find anything to make up my mind. I have been using Raybestos Quiet Stops and liked them a great deal, no squeaky noise and low dust. However, it seems they aren't making these anymore or at least I can't find them. So can anyone point me in a direction similar to these pads? I never go to the track and hardly ever get on the throttle. It is my daily driver and I'm not looking to spend a great deal on overkill pads. Any and all suggestions are appreciated

Carbotech™ Bobcat 1521™ Front are $137 and Rear is $118

The Carbotech Bobcat 1521™ is our high performance street compound that is our most successful compound. The Bobcat compound is known for its awesome release and modulation, along with unmatched rotor friendliness. Like our AX™ & XP™ line of compounds, Bobcat 1521™ is a Ceramic based friction material offering minimal rotor damage and non corrosive dust. Bobcat 1521™ offers outstanding performance, even when cold, low dusting and low noise with an excellent initial bite. This compound’s virtually perfect linear torque production provides incredible braking force without ABS intervention. Bobcat 1521™ operating range starts out at ambient and goes up to 900°F. Bobcat 1521™ is suitable for ALL street cars, perfect for your tow vehicle, police cruiser, and has won multiple SCCA Solo 2 and Prosolo National Championships. The Bobcat 1521™ compound has been found to last two-three times longer than OE pads you can purchase at a dealership or national retailer. Bobcat 1521™ compound has also been found to extend the life of your rotors 2-3 times. That’s one of the beauties of Carbotech Ceramic brake compounds. Bobcat 1521™ is NOT recommended for any track use.

I use the Carbotech Bobcats. I've been very happy with them. I've also used Carbotech XP10 and XP8 on the track. Like them all. I've tried Hawks as well and prefer the Carbotechs.

Anyone know what the Delco ceramic pads part number is for the front and rear? How much do they usually run?

Are these the correct part numbers? Is $132 shipped for both a front and rear set a good price?

another vote for delco ceramics here. I would be as bold as to say I have ZERO brake dust. they don't stop as well as the factory pads (on my 2000 coupe) but not a big deal for daily driving-which I do with my vette.

they don't stop as fast, they normally need a bit more pedal pressure, but when they get warmed up, they really work a lot better than stock I find...

Smarter construction.
Only Carbotech uses a proprietary Ceramic and Metallic brake construction, not the carbon and iron used in conventional brake systems. Since carbon and iron combine to form carbide, which is used in cutting tools, you can imagine what those brakes are doing to your rotors.

Carbotech Performance Brakes utilize true race compounds that are "rotor friendly," eliminating the grabbing and locking up that keep so many drivers and race cars from performing at their peak. You want to go deep to gain those precious fractions of a second before you need to brake, and only Carbotech brakes let you do just that. In every turn, all race long.

Carbotech brakes give you:
•Assured stopping power
•Increased overall performance and handling
•Excellent modulation and release characteristics
•Better control entering the corners
•Longer brake pad and rotor life—up to four times longer than the competition!
•Longer rotor life
•Non-corrosive dust

To elaborate on my experience . . .

Hawk HPS pads are GREAT ! Little dusting and stop better than ZO6 pads. I have had stock C5 pads (too much dust) and GM Ceramics (very little white dust but stop poorly (more force) and they warped my rotors). HAWK HPS are GREAT !
