Default Quick change V1 holder

Instead of having to plug in or unplug the power cord to a V1 radar detector every time it is taken out for use or put away for security this concept mounts the power cord to the front of the holder. A size 00 Lemo right angle coax plug is used on the holder and a matching Lemo receptacle is mounted on the front of the V1. The original phone connector is removed from the side of the V1. This holder is mounted to the car using the one screw passenger side sun visor clip, it also has a small 1-72 screw that keeps the detector aimed forward. This location places the V1 behind the tinted part of the windshield for security so it isn't seen from the outside. When the V1 needs to be stored it is simply pulled out, to install, it is pushed back into the holder, power connection is automatic. The top of the holder is 1/16" thick aluminum and the sides are black Delrin, a small aluminum block holds the rear Lemo connector in position. This was posted so anyone else can make their own if they want to, I have used this holder for years and it works great.
This shows the V1 in the holder.
This shows the holder only.
The Lemo receptacle is shown wired into the front of the V1.

That is very cool! Great job. The one question I DO have is: Is the V1 mounted so high that it can't see out of the rear window?

It seems to see out the rear ok at least on a convertable, the rear arrow works after the source is passed.
