Hey Guys,
Looks like I may be able to get it fixed. The listed damage is under the 75%.They have the car worth 17325.00 75%=12993.75 The total loss is 11254.54 but they saying that it will be over the 75% if any other items are found. The shop I have it at are guys I grew up with.so State Farm said to fax then the estimate and look the car over and see if they can repair it for the 11,254.54. The guys at the shop said they think they can be OK with it so we will see.The only problem is if something is found down the line, but if they check it good I hope there would not be anything. If Gary tell me no problem then it looks like we will get her back. Maybe just Maybe....
I am happy to report that I have gotten State Farm to repair the car.It took a lot of going back and forth and not taking just "THAT'S THE WAY IT IS".I had my friends Brian and Gary at Rusich Collision Center to really look the car over better than the adjuster did and see that there was no under body damage and that they would say under the 75%. Boy this is my LUCKY DAY Mark
gotta love these insurance companies. you pay out the a$$ and get nothing in return. its really a shame that we have to pay the rates we do and then they go pull these stunts. goes to show you that insurance is just a big scam. They will do anything to get out of their responsibilities (what you pay them for). Glad to see you won this time.
Had a chance to go over to Rusich to see what they had done.Front end cap off and fenders.Nothing real bad to report.I will be putting the Breathless Performance Non-Pop-Up Lights in.This was something I wanted to do sometime ago and with the cost of the rt headlight assy from GM the cost is some what less. The bucket will be painted white to match the car and I thinks they will install them for me if not that's OK.Two of the rims got curbed, not real bad but I may change them and put a set of C6 Spyders on her.So far so good...

First and foremost, your son is ok. I agree with the buy back comments but what to chime in on the how "f" upped insurance companies are. I been paying a pretty penny for coverage since i bought my car
(about 8 yrs ago) that it feels like I paid for the car twice.
Recently i had to submit a claim for a jerk who did a hit a run and they raise my rates.first claim ever on it. Go figure!!!
Good deal glad to hear State Farm is taking care of you.I just totaled my wifes car and they took care of us.We had her a new car in a week and the check 8 days after the wreck. Keep us updated and take pics next visit to the shop.
I'm sure the repair work will be as good or better than most other places local. Those guys have done some amazing work over the years. Also respectable on their prices.
I have know Gary and Brian Rusich ever since we were little kids.We grew up just blocks apart.I am glad they are doing the work, for me they are the best.
Hey, Just a update. We are getting close to getting the car back. Rusich is doing a SUPER job of putting her back together. I told them to take their time and make her right. He is the pic I took this weekend.
