In the past, black rims didn't do it for me, but I'm coming around.....nice rides.....

I hate to be a negative this morn, but black rims/wheels really (to me) distroyes the natural lines of the car. Orginally I did not like them and as more and more cars have them I dislike them even more. To me it is like a two black holes on the side of the car. Yep just my worthless .02.

These pics are when I first got the wheels. My calipers are painted now. I run black lugs now too.

how much is it to get the stock rims powder coated? Last time i checked it was more expensive than buying a new set of rims.

believe it or not I rattle can painted mine for a total cost of around $25. I used black gloss paint then several coats of clear and you can see how well they turned out Nobody believes I did it and they look better than my friends powdercoated rims on his GTO.

Do you have any pictures of your rims? I've heard of a lot of guys doing this lately.
