disassembling a seat
I have a small tear in top half of my seat and have bought another seat that has a good top portion but bad bottom portion.
Is there a way to take the top half off the other seat and put it on mine?
Anyone have a guide or pictures of such an install?
Thanks

Not sure how the back comes apart if it does even but here is a site that will give you instructions for changing the cover

Here's right to the seat part though.
http://www.vetteessentials.com/instr...er_change.html I've re-done my seats and the top back is fairly easy to swap out.

This forum is awesome! 5 minutes and two responses!
Thanks Guys.
Is the procedure basically the same for the Z06 seats?
Much appreciated!

Much easer to just change the cover. To change the whole back assembly you have to mess with air lines for bolsters, hard wire for tilt lock and some hard hardware keeping it all together.
