Front Splitter

I saw teh DIY splitter using the garage door sealer from Home Depot, but it appeared to hang down more as a spoiler then out like a splitter.

ordered one for mine to hide all the scrapes on my bumper...and to make it look more finished. I've never been happy with how thee nose on the C5 sits higher than the sides.

Will you post some pictures when it is installed? On the site it appears to be parallel to the ground, where the DIY mod it is perpendicular to the ground. I want the splitter appearance, not the spoiler.

I went with the corvette-mods version because of the material. Here in houston, the driveways are steep and the speedbumps are many. For a lowered car, i need something that can take a beating and not break.

There was an earlier post and potential group buy on a CF splitter that looked really good, although the price was also pretty high. It fit tight underneath the front fascia and actually looked pretty good. I'll try to find the link....

That CF one was probably the one I tried to get together. Too many people complaining about silly stuff in that thread. We only needed like 3 more people I believe.
The price was not that bad. Shipping something like a splitter is not cheap if you want it to get there in one piece.
