Leaking gearbox....problem?
Hi,
I have a 99 6-speed C5 and bought it from the first owner with 77 k miles on it in 2007. It now has 86 k miles and I use the car once a month. Most of the time she sits covered in a heated garage.
Lately I started to notice some red fluid on the floor. So I put a bowl under the gearbox and in a 3 week period there is a little bit of red oil/fluid in the bowl.
I think I am dealing with a leaking gearbox, is this correct? If yes, do I face a problem?
