Default Something to ponder.

O.K. When I am on my Harley,(1950),I wave to not only to Harleys, but to any bikes.I figure that the more bikes=a bigger lobby. Consider this...just consider please. If you were some guy who looked up to Vette owners, and a Vette owner waved to you, wouldn't you feel that you wanted to join in on the Vette'o rama?
I also wave to "enthusiasts".

Hi Weasel -

Nice bike - any pictures?

I sold my '61 duo-glide before I bought the z - and I have had several other HD's ('86 Standard,92 Springer,99 Standard). Here is a pic of the pan -

Although I always wave at all bikes, there is a certain contigent of bad-åss tough-guy biker types that, when they don their bad-àss chaps, skull-cap bandana, and fingerless gloves, they are not allowed, by law, to wave.

Interestingly, after I sold my Hog, most of the Harley guys (not all, but MOST) will not wave back at me while I am on the Concours. Even though I have lost more blood working on Harleys than these pünks have in thier veins, now that I am on a ricer, I "ain't no good".

I will keep waving, just a friendly thing to do, and I am not usually an åsshole.

Go drip oil on someone's driveway for me, will 'ya Weasel?

very best regards -

mqqn

Yep,not everybody is a nice person,or even open-minded,But,if the police records were opened...and the newspaper archives were gleaned...and even a pole taken. It would show that we are way above average in our actions. Here is something else I learned in the monastery; Corvette owners are like a bike gang, except that their moms are proud of them.(and we wash more too). :blueangel:

When I'm in the Ferrari, I wave at all sports cars--never had a single Vette wave back-------
