I know that Richard Chevrolet in Cheshire 203-272-7241 (that is close to you) has an awesome vette mechanic. Ask to have Steve Montoni do the work on your car. He came recommended to me, and he has done some work on my 99 that has been perfect. Of course, dealer prices. But you can have them give you a price quote. At least you know they have a great mechanic!
Hope this helps.

Default mechanic to recommend

Steve no longer works there. However, one of the other mechanics is by far the most trustworthy and knowledgeable...ask for bob ditota, he has this sixth sense when it comes to diagnosing and electrical problems. I didn't get the old sell job,... just got a good feeling he knew what he was talking about.

years ago I had a Silver Anniversary,..and used to bring it to a guy in East Hartford area,..Mike Kavekis,.(i'm sure the spelling is wrong but anyway),He ended up getting into trouble and the business closed. He was incredible and knew exactly what would be wrong. Same with Bob. No bull,.no one trying to get a tip from me for doing work that any other tech would perform,..no one coming on to me,..stress free. Bob was recommended to me from someone who used to bring their vet to Mike,..turns out he was right, I totally trust his judgement.

And thanks for the warm welcome. You never know on any board if things will get nasty but I just felt you should know that you can still go to Richard's and get even better service than you received before.

Best of luck.
