Wheel alignment issues
Hi Guys/Gals, after getting my 03 vert back from a $150- alignment and happier than a bug, I was told there is a big nail/screw in rear drivers side tire and they couldn't fix it there. I went to a tire shop that is fully aware in what it takes to deal with a Vet and they fixed tire.(jacked up rear of car). Now the alignment is out what goes? The steering wheel is cocked to the right and for the life of me I dont know what a flat repair has to do with it. Does anyone have this experience???

Did you leave it with them? Then the changes are great that some punk at the shop took your Vette out for a spin and maybe hit a curb...did they first attempt to put the Vette on a 4 post lift? Maybe they put it under your lower A-Arms and one of the cam bolts slipped out of position...damn, I hope you sort it out. I never trust anybody with my Vette. When I change tires, I take the rims off at home and bring them to the tire shop with my Jeep. Indy

I agree with Indy, stange things happen for a reason. I would check your repair order from the tire shop for the mileage in and out. There is no reason for a road test after a tire repair. I would compare the recorded mileage from the front-end shop, estimated mileage to tire shop and mileage when you picked up your Vette. I would question the tire shop manager about the steering problem after you picked up the Vette. If the mileage does not indicate a joy ride, I would thing that they did not lift the Vette at the recommended points. I would show the tire shop manager your repair order from the alignment shop, which should indicate the tire problem. All the facts will point that the tire shop was responsible for the misalignment.
