I'm going to have to raise the car up a 3/8 or 1/2 inch due to the 335 /30/19 rubbing on hard pulls when the *** dips. I tried raising the rear coilover settings to 11, it helped but I lowed the rear tire pressure to 32 and now it bottoms out again.
That sucks...but 1/2" isn't too bad...by the way, what does the tire pressure have to do with tire clearance? I don't see why lowering the pressure should increase the rubbing? Indy
Nitrogen or not that is above psi specs for your car!
door spec's say 30lbs on the door panel, 15 mile trip on a warm day raises it to 34 - 35 on normal air. I'm running nitrogen at the tire hot setting 32 - 34.
I was running 315-35-17 on the stang, and I would have them set at 28-29 psi because of the ballon effect like you said. I wan't to go with 315-30-18 on the vette, and I'm trying to get an idea as to what I can do before I break a quarte pannel when the suspension travels or something else.
