took my LG street headers up to Quality Motorsports in lewisville, tx to have them installed today. Also got a 1/4" ceramic coated tunnel plate from elite engineering as well. Thanks to Patrick and the guys up there at Quality... great group of guys!
Here are a few pics:
The tunnel plate:

Sounds much much better now than the stock system with the nxt step/granatelli exhaust. Great tone while accelerating, nice and quiet at cruising.
Almost too nice to hide under the car. Have you noticed any difference with the new tunnel plate?
haven't checked it out yet on the temps or really went over many road areas that would stress the car to see how/if the plate shored it up. I'll do some more driving tomorrow to check it out
I've had the LG Streets on my vette for a couple of years now and they still look new...great quality...when you start driving the car you'll notice that its more rigid with the thicker tunnel plate
How did it change the sound with the NXT exhaust? Is it a bit louder or deeper? I love my NXT exhasut but I wouldn't mind it being a bit louder, not too loud.
I know you got a 1/4" tunnel plate ceramic coated
But did you get the Headers Jethot coated as well ?
The reason i ask is I want to send in a pair of ARH headers for coating and wanted to know the cost $$$$$$$
Bon

It is quite a bit louder on acceleration.. you get the "rumble" and true sound of the ls1. Once you reach your cruising speed, it's as quiet as the stock system was with the nxt step.

No, I didn't feel that coating the headers was necessary. I did some searching on here and just decided against it, so I have no idea as to the cost. Good luck!
